Ineos Executive leaves Jim Ratcliffe

Gary Pearson has been appointed Chief Operations Officer at Britain’s premium home charging provider, Andersen EV, to strengthen the brand's leadership team and further accelerate its current high rate of growth. Gary will report directly to David Martell, Andersen EV’s CEO, and majority shareholder.

Gary joins from INEOS Automotive, where he was latterly Head of Global Commercial Operations having first joined them as Head of and Sales and Marketing for the UK, Middle East, and North Africa. He played a key strategic role for the business during the launch of the Grenadier, the new OEM’s first production vehicle.

He brings over twenty years’ experience in the automotive sector; prior to INEOS Automotive he held senior management positions with brands including McLaren and Audi. He will now oversee Andersen EV’s sales, marketing, and customer services operations and expand its share of the overall home charging market.

David Martell, CEO of Andersen EV comments: “Gary is accustomed to propelling high growth companies within the UK automotive market, and he will play a pivotal role in further defining our brand strategy, growing global retail networks, and leading our training strategies.

“Domestic charging in the UK is becoming ever more prevalent, and as the adoption of electric vehicles is increasing, we need to ensure we have the best team in place to support the rise in demand. Gary is a well-respected figure in the automotive sector and brings a wealth of valuable and highly relevant experience to the role. This is an ideal time to grow our market presence as the UK is on the precipice of mass adoption of EVs. With Gary on board, we will have laser-sharp focus on Andersen EV's growth strategy in the UK and beyond by maximising our relationships with OEMs and dealer groups.”

Andersen EV has also strengthened the leadership team with the appointment of Charlie Atkinson as Head of Marketing.

Martell adds: “Charlie brings invaluable insight and experience from the EV sector and will help Andersen EV guide customers throughout their entire EV ownership experience, and the best ways to charge.”
