Matt Cleevely to deliver live EV demos and expert insight at Automechanika

Throughout the event, Matt will host hands-on demonstrations in the Workshop Hub

Matt Cleevely, founder of Cleevely EV, will bring his extensive knowledge to Automechanika Birmingham 2025, delivering a series of live demonstrations and participating in a panel discussion designed to help garage owners and technicians thrive in the expanding electric vehicle (EV) market.

Throughout the event, Matt will host hands-on demonstrations in the Workshop Hub. Using a Nissan Leaf, he will walk attendees through key EV diagnostics, testing methods, and tools, addressing common challenges encountered in EV repairs. These practical sessions will offer garage owners and technicians actionable insights they can immediately apply in their own workshops.

“Automechanika Birmingham is a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers and share insights into the rapidly evolving automotive aftermarket,” said Matt Cleevely, Managing Director at Cleevely Group. “I'm excited to share my latest experiences to help garage owners and technicians navigate the challenges and opportunities surrounding EVs.”

On Wednesday, 4th June, Matt will also join a panel of industry experts to discuss the future of electric vehicles in the automotive repair sector. He will share his experiences on how workshops can successfully adapt to the UK’s evolving car parc.
