ACIS puts environment at heart of TrustFord tender

Environmental issues

As part of its ongoing agreement to supply TrustFord’s group bodyshops, ACIS committed to plant a tree for each repair that the dealer group completed within its repairers.

As a result, over 5,000 trees were planted on behalf of TrustFord in 2022, which equates to a carbon offset of 1.2 million kgs of CO2, or the equivalent of over three million miles travelled in a car.

Stuart Mustoe, chief executive officer of TrustFord, says, "I’m delighted that over 5,000 trees were planted in 2022 on behalf of TrustFord as part of our partnership with ACIS and its carbon offset programme.  Being a good corporate citizen is one of our strategic goals and we are committed to creating an environmentally conscious culture throughout our organisation.  We pride ourselves on our environmental credentials and will continue to build on these in the future to ensure we’re doing all we can to protect our environment.”

Ryan O’Neill, head of sales at ACIS, adds, “Increasingly, supplier partners need to be able to demonstrate that they have a robust programme in place to align with companies’ environmental and sustainability policies.  By placing carbon offsetting at the heart of our tenders, we are reinforcing our commitment to help reduce our impact on the environment and take measures to enhance rather than harm the planet.”
