Chicane to continue birthday celebrations at Kelmarsh Hall

Chicane PR and Marketing

Great British Motor Show’s Signature Event at Kelmarsh Hall, plays host to Chicane, on Sunday August 4th, for the latest event marking the Automotive PR and Marketing Company’s 25th Anniversary.

The Northamptonshire stately home is one of five “Signature” events for the UK’s foremost regional classic car show organiser, and will feature hundreds of classic and performance cars on display. The event will also offer guests the opportunity to wander through Kelmarsh’s award-winning gardens.

The Chicane name is adorning the VIP Hospitality tent for all of Great British Motor Show’s five Signature shows - including its flagship Masters of Motoring event, which was held in Wiltshire in June - and, at Kelmarsh, Chicane staff will once again be in attendance.

“This is our second year of working with Great British Motor Shows and, between us, we came up with the idea of Chicane hosting their VIP tent and having guests for afternoon tea,” explains Chicane’s Gary Barak. “Appropriately, we have 25 guests at each – a mix of clients and friends of Chicane – to mark our 25th birthday year. It’s a fun way to celebrate and thank those who we are, and have been, associated with and it’s a bit different. Everything is very chilled – hopefully, with the exception of the weather!”

The Northampton Signature Classic & Performance Motor Show, presented by Footman James insurance, in association with Alpine specialists, Jaybee Motors, will attract car enthusiasts and collectors, from all over the region, many of whom will have their beloved vehicles on display. These should range from the pre-WW2 classics, through the heady days of the ‘60s and ‘70s – with iconic cars like the Jaguar E Type – all the way to cars from the ‘80s ‘90s and Noughties, often referred to a “Youngtimers.”

Great British Motor Shows hosts no less than 15 events over the course of the year, all packed into a season that starts in March and finishes in September.

“It is an incredible amount of hard work for Steve Bishop and his Great British Motor Shows team, but it seems to be a winning formula. We very much like their ethos, with all the events being carbon-neutral and money from each ticket going to Race Against Dementia,” enthuses Simon Maurice of Chicane. “We have really enjoyed the events so far, as have our guests, judging by the reactions we’ve had. We’re very much looking forward to Kelmarsh, which is the closest location to London, and to Chicane’s home base in Kings Langley.”
