Davanti Tyres is sponsoring Status Code 14

Davanti Tyres, one of the UK’s leading mid-range tyre brands, is sponsoring Status Code 14 – a team of 4 – who are taking on the 150-mile National Trail of Hadrian's Wall in an epic running challenge, all to raise money for mental health in blue light services and men's cancer charities.

The mammoth running challenge will see the team traverse the width of the UK, starting at Wallsend, Newcastle Upon Tyne and running to Bowness-On-Solway - and back - in the impressive coast to coast endurance event.

The team of four will be starting their 150-mile run on 21st October and aiming to complete it on 29th October 2023. Those participating in the Hadrian's Wall challenge are predominantly serving and ex-serving military and police, and each day they will look to cover around 28 miles.

Davanti Tyres is proud to be the main sponsor of the team. Davanti Tyres’ General Manager Peter Cross said: “The Status Code 14 team is taking on a challenge most of us could only dream of completing, and all to raise money and awareness for important causes. We hope our donation will help toward raising a fantastic amount for the mental health and men’s cancer charities and we wish the team the very best of luck.”

Scott Dawson from Statuscode14 said:

“Firstly we would like to say a huge thank you to all at Davanti for the support and sponsorship of this event.

“This endurance run is more than about raising funds for our chosen charity, it’s a way to highlight and raise awareness around positive attitudes towards mental health and PTSD in our blue light emergency service workers, veterans and serving military. It’s testament to Davanti’s own positive stance and openness about mental health in the workplace that makes us so pleased to have them as a partner.

“Hadrians wall is the 4th of six endurance challenges the team is undertaking. The first saw one of us run 75 miles across Scotland from Inverness to Fort William in just over 24 hours. The second was a 4 man triathlon relay from London to Paris including a Channel swim. In February this year we completed a 3,295 mile row across the Atlantic Ocean competing against 42 other teams in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge ocean rowing race taking 60 days, 4 hours and 7 minutes and winning the trio open class race.”
