DENSO and TOYOTA GAZOO Racing continue to push the limits!

Toyota and Denso

Celebrating its ongoing multi-category motorsport successes and long term collaboration with its partner TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, DENSO is hosting a live online event featuring Toyota GR010 HYBRID drivers and multiple world champions, Mike Conway and José María López

Following the recent success of a dominant one-two victory in the 1000 Miles of Sebring during the opening round of the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season, and with its eyes firmly fixed on the 100th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, DENSO is holding the online event at 14:30 CET on 25th May, to celebrate its racing partnership with Toyota, which began in 1965.

With the title ‘Pushing the Limits’, the event will feature live interviews with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) WEC racing drivers José María López and Mike Conway, TGR’s General Manager of Motorsport Development, Masaya Kaji, and Senior Director of DENSO’s R&D Centre, Masashi Kiyono, as they talk about how to battle the extreme conditions on track and continue to develop the latest technologies, in order to dominate one of the most exciting forms of global motorsport. There will also be a sneak preview of the new and upgraded version of the Toyota GR010 HYBRID hypercar, which will compete at Le Mans, and proudly carry the DENSO brand on its resplendent livery.

The event is a great opportunity for both qualified technicians responsible for the repair and service of the European car parc and university students looking forward to a career in automotive technology, so save the date and watch it live through the @DENSOEurope YouTube Channel on May 25th at 14:30 CET.
