DENSO thanks its valued PowerEdge customers

Denso Poweredge

Demonstrating just what a compelling proposition the PowerEdge brand presents, the DENSO UK Aftermarket team took a number of its valued customers to the Acropolis Rally, as part of its PowerEdge brand launch

At the legendary event, round 10 of the World Rally Championship (WRC), UK and Eire Sales Manager, Kevin Peacocke and Technical Manager, Mike Sadler hosted national distributors and brand guests, as they combined the thrills and spills of this technically advanced and highly demanding motorsport challenge, with further insight of the PowerEdge brand.

The PowerEdge brand is designed to provide a competitive solution for those customers looking for a value alternative. It is developed according to the company’s exacting quality standards to meet the requirements of the aftermarket’s mid-price, high quality segment, and benefits from the full DENSO service offering, encompassing ordering, delivery, logistics and customer service.

The icing on the cake for these valued customers, was to witness a DENSO Sponsored Toyota GAZOO Racing one-two finish in the WRC event, with Kalle Rovanperä scoring his second win in three years in Greece and increasing his championship lead, while Elfyn Evans secured second place in a showdown during the event’s final stage.

“It’s always nice to recognise the efforts of loyal and committed customers,” explained Kevin, “and to be able to do so in a warm and relaxed atmosphere and to enjoy the Acropolis Rally victory with a DENSO backed car as well, is a particularly nice way to do it!

“The aftermarket is a tough place to operate with lots of competition, but we’re delighted that our customers recognise the opportunities presented by PowerEdge. The brand currently consists of wiper blades, with a range that incorporates both flat and conventional blades across 24-part numbers that cater for up to 90% of the European car parc and air conditioning compressors, with 31 part numbers that include selected heavy-duty compressors alongside many passenger car applications, which further increases its appeal as a practical solution for the older vehicle parc.”

Some of the popular vehicles catered for by the PowerEdge compressor range include the Opel Astra and Corsa, various PSA applications like 206, 307, C3, Berlingo and Partner, as well as numerous VAG models like Golf, Passat, Polo, A3, Leon, and Octavia.

Naturally, in addition to their quality design and manufacture, PowerEdge products are well presented in robust packaging, include comprehensive fitting instructions and are supported by a dedicated PowerEdge web catalogue, as well as via TecDoc.
