DENSO’s League of True Mechanics winner revels in the Monaco GP magic!

Monaco GP

Multiple League of True Mechanics (LOTM) UK winner Edd Hunt, enjoyed the top prize for the winner of the 2023 competition, which was a weekend trip for two to attend the charismatic Monaco Grand Prix, which took place around the narrow streets of the principality in late May

“We had the most amazing weekend and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it,” said Edd, “and even had a few unexpected extras too, like meeting former F1 world champion Damon Hill on the way out and ending up being invited into the pit lane by the Williams F1 team, to have a tour of the garage on the Friday afternoon – I really couldn't quite believe my luck on that one!

“The hotel was amazing and everything there was great, even down to a really nice little detail when we arrived, as there was a box on the bed saying welcome to Monaco with two little chocolate F1 cars, which was a nice touch!

“The racing was amazing and we had such brilliant seats, so the whole experience is something I will never forget, and Monaco is quite an incredible place. So, thank you to the DENSO team and please pass on my thanks to everyone else involved.”

“Our annual LOTM competition is designed to combine raising the skills of aftermarket professionals to allow them to undertake service and repair work with confidence, and encourage that competitive spirit that makes one strive all the harder,” explains DENSO Europe, Pan European Strategic Marketing Manager, Fatiha Laauich, “and so the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of watching a Formula 1 race, with the glamorous backdrop of Monaco, was a nice prize for DENSO to be able to offer the winner.

“Our congratulations once more go to Edd on being a worthy LOTM winner, but we also want to say that it’s not too late for professionals to enter this year’s competition and to join the fight to be the 2024 LOTM winner, so sign up – https://www.denso-technic.com – today!”
