Exol to sponsor Bromsgrove Rugby Club

Exol sponsors Rugby

Leading oils and lubricants supplier Exol Lubricants will return to the rugby pitch for the 2023/4 season after agreeing a sponsorship package with Bromsgrove Rugby Club.

Exol Lubricants will feature on the front of the first men’s team’s shirt as Bromsgrove compete for promotion again from the Regional 1 Midlands league, the fifth tier of England’s RFU league pyramid.

Steve Dunn, sales and marketing director at Exol Lubricants, said: “Exol is delighted to support Bromsgrove RFC as they compete for promotion again. We have great cohesion with local sports clubs, and it is a way for us to not only promote Exol as a leading lubricants supplier but also help futureproof clubs and invest in their future success.”

Bromsgrove RFC celebrated its 150th anniversary in the 2022/3 season, in which it finished fourth in the league. The Finstall Park club returns to action on September 2nd with an away fixture at Oxford Harlequins.

Exol Lubricants, with its West Midlands headquarters at Wednesbury, and further blending facilities in Rotherham, fully integrates itself in its local communities with sponsorship agreements and charitable fundraising events.

The company has a strong heritage in Midlands-based sport having previously sponsored the Kidderminster Harriers football team, and the former Worcester Warriors rugby club.

Beverley Haynes, commercial officer at Bromsgrove RFC said: "We’re delighted that Exol Lubricants will support the club. Bromsgrove is a proactive club that does lots in the community such as out of season charity fundraising. We’d like to win the league and that would result in promotion to National League Two.

“Exol’s sponsorship allows us to future proof the club and invest in both the game and our players for future success. Everything is raised through sponsorship, so we’re working hard to push forward to gain more exposure for our commercial partners.”
