Glen Callum Associates kickstarts Benathlon charity effort

Benathlon

Glen Callum Associates (GCA) has launched a team effort to complete Benathlon, a 30-day challenge encouraging participants to exercise for 30 minutes every day for the 30 days of September.

Benathlon is an event organised by mental health charity Ben, which is dedicated to supporting employees within the automotive industry and their families. Ben works with automotive professionals to improve their lives by enhancing their health and wellbeing through its free and confidential helpline and support services.

GCA team members, Kerrie Richards, Kayleigh Bradley, Karen Bradley and Robert Cox, have all embarked on a tough month of physical activity, getting involved in a number of different activities, from a team walk along the Dudley Canal, plus individually completing arduous, high intensity interval training workouts, long walks, pilates, and hula hooping, as well as their usual goalkeeping and skipping workouts.

Richards, director at GCA, said: “Benathlon provides a great opportunity to raise money for a really important cause, and for the GCA team to enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of exercise and being outdoors and active.

“Ben does great work to support employees in the automotive industry and their families in times of crisis and it’s great to be able to raise money to support them, while also have some fun and stay fit whilst doing so!”
