Castle Combe Racing Club Members to benefit from partnership
Motul and Castle Combe Circuit have confirmed the continuation of their partnership agreement, which now stretches back to 2021. This year’s expanded partnership sees Motul taking title sponsorship of the popular Castle Combe Formula Ford 1600 series, which is one of the circuit’s longest -running championships, for this landmark year for Castle Combe Circuit, as the much-loved Wiltshire race track celebrates its 75thAnniversary.
“We are delighted to be able to announce our continued partnership with Castle Combe Circuit in this historic year for them,” enthuses Andy Wait, Motul’s Head of Business for the UK and Ireland. “With the opening of Motul’s new offices in Bath, Castle Combe really is our home race circuit, so it’s great to be able to work with them and expand our involvement.”
“The circuit is delighted to have Motul onboard as title sponsor of the Formula Ford 1600 Championship for 2025. We already have a great relationship with Motul and are looking forward to continuing to develop this over the season, explains Max Symonds, Castle Combe’s Commercial Manager. “It’s great not only to be able to offer our competitors the best lubricant products in motorsport but also to be able to work with Motul to engage with our spectators and other visitors over the season to really give everyone something to be excited about.”
Motul has been the Official Lubricant Brand of both the famous Wiltshire race track and the Castle CombeRacing Club since the partnership commenced in 2021 and the brand continues to use its expertise and the range of its products - as well as its technical resource - to benefit the circuit’s car racing club and Castle Combe’s competitors alike. This year Motul is able to add extra value into the partnership, through its Club Motul initiative, which means that Castle Combe Racing Club members will be able to get special rates on Motul products through the Club Motul website.
The partnership, of course, features Motul branding trackside, but perhaps the most impressive Motul exposure is on the Circuit’s press building, which is nowadays the Motul Media Centre. The facility is one of the newest and most impressive buildings at the race circuit.
The Motul Formula Ford 1600 Championship runs throughout 2025 with the first round taking place on April 21st at the Howard’s Day Race meeting.
