Thinkcar UK donates tool as prize for charity raffle

Thinkcar UK has joined forces with YouTube channel RMS Diagnostics and has provided a Thinkcar THINKTOOL Lite tool

Thinkcar UK has joined forces with YouTube channel RMS Diagnostics and has provided a Thinkcar THINKTOOL Lite tool worth £550 plus VAT as prize for a special raffle with all proceeds going to support UK charity Prostate Cancer Research. Tickets are just £1.

RMS Diagnostics regularly posts technical videos for its aftermarket audience, and recently hit 5,000 subscribers. Beyond the digital realm, RMS Diagnostics is a garage based in Sandwich, Kent led by Bob Shervill, whose personal experience of cancer within his family inspired him to raise money in order to help counter the disease.

“We already work with Bob and the team,” said Alex Gillbanks Managing Director of Impact Diagnostics, the specialist supplier behind Thinkcar UK, “so when he asked us if we could donate a tool for the raffle, we immediately said yes.”

The Thinkcar THINKTOOL Lite is a versatile and user-friendly diagnostic tool. It comes with a wireless diagnostic adapter, which means technicians can move freely around the vehicle. It features intelligent diagnostics with automatic vehicle identification and a full system scanning function.

The decision to provide a prize for the raffle has a personal dimension for Alex too: “My former colleague, Luke Alden, used to work for me, and he passed away due to cancer earlier this year. We would like to honour his memory by raising money and awareness to combat and prevent cancer.”

Bob and the team from RMS Diagnostics will also be appearing on the Thinkcar UK stand at Mechanex Sandown, taking place 12th-13th November at Sandown Park in Surrey. They will be joining fellow YouTuber Darren Quinn from Mechanic Mindset, who will also be on hand. Thinkcar UK will be on Stand D60.

The raffle will close on Friday, 15th November 2024 at 20:00 or when the last ticket is sold.
