Advantages of a hang on system for wheel alignment

When it comes to wheel alignment, ease and efficiency matter! That’s why Supertracker’s ‘hang on’ system is the popular choice for thousands of garages around the UK.

Whether you are using a laser wheel alignment system or a computerised wheel alignment system, both come as standard with a hang on system. This works just as described, the hanger is hung onto the tyre with small grips for the tread and located in place with 3 plastic rim buttons which safely and without damage to wheels, positions the hanger with 3 points of contact.

This can be mounted to the tyre and removed in a matter of seconds, proving to be a quick wheel alignment solution.

The hanger and measuring heads are conveniently designed as one unit, this has many significant advantages;

·       Space saving – stored neatly together and docked/charged all together with the main workstation.

·       Time saving – no need to attach and remove the head from the hanger/clamp, saving valuable time.

·       Robust - Less likely to be prone to damage and / or loss, as they are not stored separately from one another, also as the system is calibrated as one unit, this keeps the integrity of machine.

The hang on system is designed to be lighter than 3-point clamps on the market, helping with manageability and they are proudly made in the UK
