ALLDATA Europe confirms expert speaker lineup
In partnership with Opus IVS, ALLDATA Europe will welcome workshop owners and technicians to Colchester-based Shaikly Motor Company Ltd. This exclusive event will explore repair solutions, share industry expertise and tackle the technical and business challenges shaping the automotive aftermarket.
Industry leaders, workshop owners and technical experts are set to take to the stage at ALLDATA Europe’s Repair Excellence Event. Hosted at Shaikly Motor Company Ltd, in collaboration with Opus IVS on Saturday 8th March, this event promises invaluable insights and expertise from some of the industry’s most respected voices.
Michael Shaikly, Technical Topics’ James Dillon and exhilHRate’s Amy Blick will lead proceedings, delivering sharp 20-minute presentations:
Michael will address customer scoring and profiling, James will delve into diagnostic approaches, test and measurement techniques, while Amy will put the spotlight on HR challenges in workshops, like turnover, skill shortages, physical demands and worklife balance – with real case studies.
Visitors will then break into smaller groups for three in-depth technical training sessions, led by renowned industry figures:
Steve Scott, the founder of the SimplyDiag Network, will focus on efficient and profitable troubleshooting, focusing on fault identification and root cause analysis using pass/fail tests within an initial assessment time.
Meanwhile, Mechanic Mindset’s Darren Quinn will use a vehicle to deliver a masterclass in sensor diagnostics. He will use Opus IVS tools and ALLDATA Europe wiring diagrams to explain sensor functionality, fault codes and troubleshooting techniques.
Finally, Gary Clayton from The Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance, will delve into what the organisation does to support the automotive aftermarket community.
ALLDATA Europe and Opus IVS staff will be on-hand throughout to show delegates how tools and equipment, like ALLDATA Repair and Opus’ DrivePro2, can provide solutions to modern-day workshop challenges.
Networking and industry support available
Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with fellow workshop owners and technicians during intervals, as well as engage with representatives from guest suppliers supporting the debut event.
ALLDATA Europe is also confirmed that staff from Ben will also be in attendance, sharing insights into the critical work the automotive charity conducts.
With a mixture of engaging business presentations, technical workouts and demonstrations, live case studies and networking opportunities, ALLDATA Europe, Opus IVS and Shaikly Motor Company Ltd believe the Repair Excellence Event is a priceless opportunity that will help elevate standards in the automotive aftermarket and unite the community.
