Automechanika 2022: Shaftec Drives Further into Europe
With its first product launch in 10 years - a comprehensive range of new Propshafts - a dynamic new website and an enhanced export division, transmission expert Shaftec will use this year’s Automechanika, Frankfurt, to demonstrate how through strategic business investment it is ready to drive its brand power further into Europe, as it looks for exciting new distribution opportunities.
“Automechanika is without doubt the largest and most influential industry exhibition across Europe, and we are delighted to be able to meet with our industry partners face-to-face once again,” explained Tom Curtis, Managing Director, Shaftec.
“As we reconnect with old friends and make new ones, it’s time to take the Shaftec brand even further. Our dedicated Export Team will be available on the stand throughout the show to answer any questions. About our growing product portfolio, unrivalled in-house remanufacturing expertise and stock holding which means we can get parts to most places in Europe within 48 hours.
“And also, to explain how through continuous investment and product development, Shaftec cornered the market for remanufactured Electric Powered Steering in the UK and is now best placed to continue this expansion across Europe.”
Propshaft Launch: incorporating over 20 years’ experience in the field of Driveshaft and CV Joints, this new range of Propshafts perfectly complements Shaftec’s existing product portfolio. With an initial range of 170 OE matched quality-, one-, two- & three-piece surcharge free parts, offering robust European parc coverage across the classes and available with 95 percent availability from the start, there are already a further 40 parts in development.
New Website – developed as part of Shaftec’s new Brand image implementation, this offers a more dynamic user experience and is much easier to use on mobile devices. With new easy to scroll sections such as ‘quality and accreditations’ the whole look and feel of the website has been updated in line with refreshed corporate guidelines. Furthermore, it is heavily focussed on the overarching Shaftec strapline of: Drive. Steer. Stop. using the Shaftec green, orange, and red colourways to more easily identify the products via their vehicle function.
Tom concludes: “It’s an exciting time for the industry at large. With technological advances happening at pace and the face of the aftermarket changing all the time, we look forward to welcoming our industry partners to the stand to talk about the cornerstone on which all our businesses are built – the parts!”
