Copart increases storage capacity in the Southwest

Copart Wiltshire

Global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling, Copart UK, have announced further expansion plans in the southwest of England as part of their ongoing growth programme.

Copart is acquiring over 9 acres of land which adjoins their current site at Westbury in Wiltshire.

Once works are completed it will become an extension of the existing Copart Westbury site, with the additional acreage set to increase overall vehicle storage capacity for customers operating in the Southwest of England by 60%.

This acquisition follows a series of similar land investment announcements from Copart, including continued expansion at their Operation Centres in Rochford and Wisbech.

Jane Pocock, CEO of Copart UK & Ireland, said:

“We’re delighted to announce our expansion plans for Westbury, which is yet another strand of our extensive reinvestment strategy, which combines a programme of land acquisition with continuous improvement at existing sites and reinvestment in transport, services, and technology.

“Annually, the expansion will provide storage for 16,000 additional vehicles at this site, supporting Copart’s continued growth in industry leading services in the Southwest alongside our Operation Centres in Bristol and Newbury.”
