Federation of Engine Remanufacturers AGM and Conference return

The Federation of Engine Remanufacturers FER has announced details of its annual conference and dinner, taking place on Saturday 14th October across two new venues.

Members are invited to attend the Federation’s jewel-in-the-crown event, with the AGM and Conference at The Motorist in Leeds, an exciting, automotive-themed event space designed with the petrolhead in mind, followed by a glittering dinner evening at the Park Inn by Radisson, York.

Attendance at this year’s event is set to be high following the Federation’s debut at leading automotive aftermarket trade exhibition Automechanika Birmingham, as well as renewed activity across its training programmes and lobbying for the engine reconditioning industry.

The AGM and Conference will feature practical demonstrations as well as insightful lectures into engine reconditioning practices from leading industry figures.

FER is encouraging its members to attend the AGM to learn about the Federation’s activity over the past 12 months, and have their voices heard on how this activity is managed and how the sector navigates the challenges faced by the wider automotive sector.

Rod Bennett, operations manager at FER, said: “The FER continues to evolve and promote both the benefits of remanufacturing and the depth of skills across the industry. We’re excited to welcome expert voices from across the sector once again at our annual Conference and help our members to adapt, grow and develop their businesses, despite today’s economic challenges.”

Tickets to the conference can be ordered by emailing Rod Bennett, at rod@fer.co.uk.
