Garage Talks to - Ethan and Harvey from Paddock Speedshop at Silverstone

Paddock Speedshop centres around a small group of twenty somethings, who bring a number of different vehicles back to full working order over the course of each series. The programme is not only aiming at a new generation of potential restorers but is also seeking to give a modern-day interpretation of what a restored classic can offer.

The show’s leading restorers are two 23-year-olds: Lucy Busby and Ethan Blake-Jones, who will be maintaining and restoring a varied selection of Classics and Youngtimers - both for everyday road use and also for competition. Resto-mod is often going to be the order of the day, but there is no hard and fast policy as each car will be assessed on its own merits, so many may well be straight restorations.

Series Producer, Craig Blake-Jones adds “We are delighted to be working with Motul on Paddock Speedshop. Not only do they have a comprehensive portfolio of quality products that are already proving of real use to us, but their outlook is completely aligned with that of the show. The Motul brand has a fantastic history but also has that sense of fun and enthusiasm that fits well with Paddock Speedshop and that I think will make for a really good partnership.”

Paddock Speedshop is set to air later in the year in the UK.
