Hindley Clutch Specialists in Greater Manchester has won one million REPXPERT bonus points after becoming the latest lucky prize draw winner in Schaeffler's ongoing REPXPERT Bonus Point Millionaire promotion.

During the promotional periods, REPXPERT members simply continue to use the app to scan LuK, INA, and FAG product boxes to claim their bonus points as usual. Each scan gives them an automatic entry into the next prize draw for a chance to win one million REPXPERT bonus points.

“It was a real surprise to be handed that cheque,” said Ross White, owner of Hindley Clutch Specialists. “My partner had been entering all of the points, so I had no clue we were in the draw.”

Established in 2015, the business has long relied upon LuK transmission parts.

“My dad had been fitting clutches for nearly 50 years, so this business is a development of what he started,” said Ross. “Back then, it was just clutches but things have come a long way. We now do gearboxes, mechatronic units, DSGs, and a range of different semi-auto manuals.

“We’ve used LuK for donkey’s years. It’s readily available and we know that we're guaranteed good parts.”

Benefitting from more than just Schaeffler components, Ross and his dad had the foresight to undergo REPXPERT double clutch training back in 2012, making them one of the first ‘specialists’ in the UK.

“When we got the first double clutch in, we took the gearbox out, but we couldn't do it,” said Ross. “Nobody else could either, so REPXPERT came to us and gave us the insight that we needed.”

Fast-forward to August 2024 and the Millionaire points haul will be used for more staff training—this time focusing on wet clutch systems, which Hindley Clutch Specialists is currently having to turn away.

“It’s a constant learning curve,” said Ross. “There’s always something new that comes along and new tools that we need to get, so having a million bonus points in the bag will prove useful.”
