IAAF shortlisted in Association Excellence Awards

IAAF Conference

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has been shortlisted in the Association Excellence Awards in the Best Longstanding Association Event category.

The Federation’s jewel-in-the-crown Conference and Awards Dinner has enabled the IAAF to scoop the sought after nomination, with winners set to be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, in Holborn, London, on Friday 3rd November.

Run every year since 2015, the Association Excellence Awards recognise efforts by trade federations, organisations, and chartered institutes, to ensure their members’ collective voices are heard and initiatives championed.

Mark Field, chief executive of IAAF, said: “We’re really looking forward once again to our annual Conference and Awards Dinner at the DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes on 7th December.

“The popularity of our event, for its industry insight, networking opportunity and celebration of the aftermarket’s achievements over the course of the year, has led to a well-deserved nomination in the Association Excellence Awards, which is a real feather in the Federation’s cap.”

IAAF’s 2023 Conference, themed ‘The Brilliance of Resilience’, will feature a star-studded line up of leading industry voices, including former derivatives trader Nick Leeson as keynote speaker, who is known for bankrupting Barings Bank, the UK's oldest merchant bank, in 1995.

In the evening, delegates are invited to the IAAF’s annual Awards Dinner, with Tom Allen, presenter and co-presenter of TV shows The Apprentice: You’re Fired, Bake Off: An Extra Slice, and former guest on Would I Lie to You, The Last Leg and QI, opening a glitzy show that recognises outstanding achievements across the automotive aftermarket.
