Imexpart implements TecCom for seamless ordering

Imexpart ordering

Leading automotive CV and engine parts distributor, Imexpart Limited (IMEX), has adopted the TecCom electronic trading platform from PACT, the exclusive distributor of TecCom and eparts in the UK and Ireland, to streamline and enhance its customer ordering processes and service.

Founded in 1986, IMEX has been a key player in the automotive parts distribution sector, specialising in replacement parts for trucks and engine parts catering to vans, trucks, and buses, and coming soon, car applications.

With over 80 dedicated employees and depots strategically placed across the UK – North, The Midlands, and now Central South of England – IMEX has consistently delivered excellence to its clients nationwide.

The company recently announced an extended driveshaft range and same-day delivery from its new depot in Swindon following being acquired by global powerhouse, Universal Parts Group (UPG), to provide top-quality parts and unrivalled service to its customers.

Martin Butterworth, managing director at IMEX said: “Through the implementation of TecCom from PACT we can now begin to benefit from using an electronic trading platform. The system allows our customers to see stock availability and place orders straight away, creating efficiencies in the transaction and ruling out any errors in the ordering process.”

TecCom provides improved stock visibility all the way through to delivery, while taking care of invoicing and credit management. All this reduces order process time, increasing efficiency for both IMEX and its customers.

Mark Rudge, director of PACT, comments: “To stay ahead of the curve, it’s important that businesses stay agile to the changing needs of their customers – and installing TecCom is a great way of achieving this.

“By embracing electronic trading, businesses like IMEX can connect with customers much more efficiently than ever before – and we’re delighted to have them onboard!”
