ISN Europe Appoints New Managing Director
Leading automotive aftermarket solutions provider, ISN Europe, has appointed Mark Ost as Managing Director, overseeing the companies established Garage Equipment and Tools divisions.
Bringing a wealth of experience in the tools and equipment sector, Mark's appointment is described by the US-owned company as 'a perfect fit', ideally positioning them for the next phase of growth and development.
James Boon, who has been Interim MD since 2022, describes the appointment as 'compelling', and indicative of the companies ambitions.
"The search for the right person to take the business to the next level has been extensive and, certainly from my perspective, unprecedented in terms of the time and consideration we have given", commented James.
"I consider this appointment to be a landmark for ISN Europe, and should be seen by our employees, customers and indeed the industry as a whole as significant and compelling, simply because it encapsulates our plans and goals".
ISN Europe consists of 2 divisions; ISN Garage Assist, supplying garage equipment to independents, main dealers and tyre chains, and ToolTruck, who distribute a range of tools and diagnostic products via a network of dealers. More recently these two entities have become more synergised to offer customers an even wider portfolio, whilst retaining their individual identities.
Ost will report directly to the US CEO and Board Of Directors. Speaking of the appointment, CEO Mark Majeske commented “I am excited to have Mark on board. We are confident his unique, combined experience with both the tools and equipment sectors will be exactly what we need to accelerate our overall success in Europe”.
James Boon, who in 2004 founded the original Hofmann Megaplan UK business, subsequently acquired by Florida-based ISN in 2017, will remain as an ambassador and advisor to the business.
