MAHA UK supports technical partners at Autosport

MAHA UK kicked off 2025 by supporting technical partners, University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Morgan Challenge, at Autosport International
  • MAHA UK kicked off 2025 by supporting technical partners, University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Morgan Challenge, at Autosport International.

  • Networking events and meetings with the 750 Motor Club and Performance Automotive Aftermarket Association conclude productive exhibition.

The premium workshop equipment supplier joined colleagues representing the organisations, many of which trust MAHA UK’s chassis dynamometers for various, specific tasks and responsibilities.

University of Wales Trinity St David chose to install MAHA UK’s MSR 500 4WD and MSR 400 chassis dynamometers during the development of its SA1 Waterfront Campus and Innovation Quarter. Students enrolled on motorsport, mechanical and electrical engineering have access to a bespoke race workshop equipped with the aforementioned dynamometers, one for cars and another for motorbikes, as well as dedicated race bays, a vehicle setup floor and spring testers.

It is the perfect environment for vehicle preparation, measurement and testing, giving students a glimpse into the world of motorsport and an ability to earn skills, experience and qualifications that will prepare them for a long, successful career.

Morgan Challenge celebrating its 40th anniversary

Meanwhile, MAHA UK and Morgan began its technical partnership in 2024. Open to all four-wheeled Morgans, the championship is divided into several classes, meaning a chassis dynamometer is required to ensure competitors’ entrants fall within the correct performance parameters and are technically compliant – MAHA UK accompanies the championships with its MSR 500.

In 2025, the Morgan Challenge will celebrate its 40th anniversary, and MAHA UK will be supporting the championship in this special year.

Productive 750 Motor Club and PAAA networking events

Further enhancing its commitment to the motorsport sector, MAHA UK representatives also met with members of the 750 Motor Club race series. This meeting reaffirmed the long-standing partnership between the two parties, which continues to thrive ahead of another busy season in which MAHA UK’s FPS 2700 chassis dynamometer will play a crucial role in maintaining fairness and safety. It upholds regulations related to power-to-weight ratios, classifications and power caps.

The trio also participated in the Performance Automotive Aftermarket Association (PAAA) networking event on Thursday evening, providing an excellent platform to meet with a diverse array of industry leaders – many of whom are already valued customers of MAHA UK. The PAAA is a trade only organisation that represents the interests and safeguards the rights of the performance tuning industry, of which MAHA UK is a proud member of.

“Great to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones”

MAHA UK’s chassis dynamometer specialist, Louis Tunmore, attended the flagship event, alongside sales executives, Luke Fuller and James Thompson, and was pleased to donate the company’s support to the organisations. He also highlighted the networking opportunities available at the National Exhibition Centre.

He said: “MAHA UK has played a part, in various ways, in Autosport International over many years and is always an important date in our calendar. This year, it was an eventful few days for us; we reconnected with familiar faces and met new ones from across the trade.”
