Maverick bolsters sales team with experienced duo
Maverick Diagnostics is delighted to announce the appointments of Kris Grant and Rob Powell. The duo have strengthened the supplier of genuine diagnostic tools and technical support to independent workshops’ sales team.
Kris brings extensive experience from his 11-and-a-half-year tenure at Dingbro, where he started as an apprentice at age 17 and progressed through various roles. He revealed he was attracted to Maverick Diagnostics because of its focus on dealer tools and alignment with the evolving needs of the automotive aftermarket.
He continued: “The team were very welcoming, and I wanted to be part of a company that’s setting the standard in the industry.”
Kris will oversee Scotland and northern England; he will visit garages, offer advice on adapting to industry changes, and helping them stay ahead.
Kris added: “I am committed to bringing my expertise and customer relation skills to the position. I am confident I can achieve success for our clients.”

Rob, meanwhile, joins Maverick Diagnostics with nearly 20 years of diverse sales experience, including roles in car sales, IT sales, and most recently, diagnostics with Würth.
Rob explained he was drawn to Maverick Diagnostics because of the opportunity to work for a company at the “top of its game”.
In his new role, Rob will engage with existing and potential customers, provide insights into the diagnostics industry, and act as a business development consultant.
He said: “My goal is to advise customers on current and future diagnostics solutions. I want to leverage my personality, rapport-building skills, and resilience to generate strong relationships and drive success.”
