MJAllen renews Cyber Essentials certification

Cyber security

MJAllen Automotive, part of engineering expert MJAllen Group, has renewed its Cyber Essentials certificate for another year, having adopted best practices across the business to protect itself, customers, and suppliers from common digital security threats.

The renewed certificate underlines MJAllen Group’s commitment to data security and protecting the business from risk by retraining staff on its compliance standards.

Les Kershaw, managing director at MJAllen Automotive, said: “The automotive industry is facing increased risks associated with connected car technology and it’s critical aftermarket suppliers play their part in keeping data secure from malicious attacks.

“Retaining this accreditation gives us and our wider supply chain confidence that we are effectively monitoring cyber security and improving our security posture across the business.”

MJAllen Group is a third-generation, family-run engineering business that comprises separate businesses, including MJAllen Automotive. Other companies within the group specialise in metal casting, precision machining, structural metalworking and automotive engineering, further boosted by an automotive research and development sector, responsible for all-terrain, agricultural and consumer driveline systems.
