Opus IVS announces free technical event in April

Opus IVS Technical training

Opus IVS, leading provider of diagnostics solutions backed by OE master technicians, will host a new trade Technical Open Evening across 19th and 20th April at the RMI Academy in Runcorn.

The evenings are free for garages to attend and will run from 6pm to 9pm with content geared towards training and skills development. The 19th of April is open to all trade technicians, ahead of IGA holding a ‘members evening’ on 20th April.

“We are providing this outside of work hours so that it’s easy for busy garage owners and technicians to attend and pick up useful new information quickly,” said Karl Booth, Head of Sales for UK and ROW at Opus IVS. “Diagnostics is changing fast so it’s a great opportunity to come along, listen to the latest developments and ask any questions.”

Organisers Opus IVS are aiming for a relaxed format, with food and drink included. Technical sessions will be delivered on BMW and VAG brands, courtesy of BMW Master Technician Keith Witherspoon.

“Keith is well respected by our customers, some of whom we hope will join us too,” said Karl. “We actively encourage garages who may not be totally sure what we can offer to come and see the level of expertise first-hand.”

The flagship DrivePro™ Elite is a diagnostic tablet offering a remote services VCI and coverage for 64 brands. However, Opus IVS says the real difference is their game-changing support behind the product.

“We always include IVS 360™ live support,” says Karl. “This means customers can access our team of over one hundred brand-specific OE master technicians.”

According to Opus IVS, this leads to more first-time fixes and improved retention of diagnostics work. Beyond this, there’s also an appointment-based Remote Assist Program (RAP) for on-demand complex programming and coding solutions.

Garages wishing to find out more or register are invited to do so now at https://www.opusivs-uk.com/tech-open-evening-19.4.23.pr. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
