PACT integration streamlines Bettaparts customer journey

Bettaparts, the braking components and wheel bearings supplier to the automotive aftermarket, has implemented electronic trading via PACT, the exclusive distributor of TecCom and eparts in the UK and Ireland, to enhance its customer journey by streamlining their ordering process.

Aftermarket suppliers and parts distributors are looking to create efficiencies in the ordering process by using an expanding choice of digital tools. The TecCom portal is having positive effects on business relationships between garages, motor factors, suppliers and customers by facilitating easier communication.

Toby Whewell, sales and marketing director at Fras-le, parent company of Bettaparts, said: “To help us meet strategic objectives across the business we have refined our trading processes and customer-facing product catalogues to be more digitally focused.

For over 40 years Bettaparts has been supplying the automotive aftermarket with high-end braking, suspension and wheel bearing parts, including through its ABTEX brand.

“We’re benefitting from the digital trading system, and the portal is assisting with improved transparency over a transaction. The platform has streamlined our processes by facilitating remote verification of the part,” Whewell added.

Mark Rudge, director at PACT, said: “In order to keep business operations lean at a time when running a garage is increasing in cost, digital tools and new working methods are being employed to increase efficiency, consequently saving time and money.”
