Past, Fast & Future Auto Show
Shropshire’s newest car show comes racing into view this April. Organised by the Auto Centre training team at Shrewsbury Colleges Group the Past, Fast & Future Auto Show is set to be a brilliant afternoon with something for the whole family.
Completely free for the public to attend, the event will be raising vital funds for the county’s Severn Hospicewith exhibiting cars and traders asked to make donations to the charity in lieu of pitch fees. The event is being sponsored by RMT Garage Equipment who are also passing their contribution to the hospice.
Individual owners will be displaying a fascinating range of modern and classic cars from Lotuses to Land Rovers and Minis to Mazdas. They will be joined by local car clubs and enthusiast groups including the Shropshire and Border Counties Area Military Vehicle Trust who will roll in their D-Day 80 display, with examples of the amazing machinery that started to turn the tide of the Second World War in June 1944.
The college’s Auto Centre will be open to explore and will house the World Land Speed Record Motorbike and Console Heaven’s Gaming Van, alongside other displays and demos, including hybrid & EV maintenance tech and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Visitors will be kept well-fuelled during the event courtesy of Severn Hospice’s pop-up café On The Road and Scoopalicious’ vintage ice cream tricycle.
The show is free to visit though the public is asked to pre-book to help manage visitor numbers and parking during the afternoon. You can secure your ticket now and find out more details about attendees and transport arrangements at www.shrews.co/PastFastFuture
