Point S Tyre & Autocare, the UK’s leading independent tyre dealer and car maintenance network, has bolstered its UK sales team with the appointment of Todd Sale as Sales Manager for the Northern region.
Working alongside Sales Manager, Andy Tester, Sale’s role will be to work closely with Point S’ members in the north of the UK and in Northern Ireland to support the growth of their businesses. Sale will also be tasked with strategically growing the network in the region, building on the 300 centres that currently operate within Point S.
Sale has acquired extensive automotive industry experience throughout his career, having held a variety of roles across the sector. Joining Point S following a successful period as a Sales Director for a large independent UK tyre wholesaler, he has worked across the entire automotive spectrum. Beginning his career as an apprentice technician, Sale later worked as a Regional Manager for an aftermarket retailer, before taking on significant roles in aftermarket parts and tyre wholesale.
Wayne Daniel, UK Network Operations Manager, said, “Bringing a person with Todd’s experience and expertise into our team is a significant step for Point S in our ambition to futureproof the businesses within our network. Todd’s breadth of knowledge of the automotive sector will be invaluable for our members going forward.”
Todd Sale added, “Joining Point S was the easiest decision of my career. I am excited to support the company’s ambitious plans for the future, and to join an experienced and highly talented management team. It is important to me to be part of a global business that truly understands the strengths of its members. Having seen how much the network has grown over the last few years, I have no doubt that the only way is up for Point S”.
