Point S Tyre & Autocare, the UK’s leading independent tyre dealer and car maintenance network, has bolstered its team in the UK with three strategic appointments.

Gary Holden has been appointed as the network’s UK Sales Manager North, while Dexter Jones and Paul Jones have taken on the roles of Business Development Manager South East and Marketing Manager, respectively. 

The appointments signify Point S’s commitment to futureproofing the businesses within its network. Gary Holden will work closely with the network’s members in the north of the UK and in Northern Ireland to support the growth of their businesses, while also looking to strategically grow the network. With a vast amount of experience in the automotive sector, including senior roles at GSF Car Parts, Gary is expertly placed to assist the northern segment of the network.

In his role as Business Development Manager South East, Dexter Jones has a remit to grow the Point S network in the UK and work closely with existing members in his region to ensure their continued development and success. Throughout his career, Dexter has worked for a variety of automotive dealerships, as well as a high-profile tyre manufacturer, establishing a reputation for driving business growth.

Marketing Manager, Paul Jones, is responsible for providing strategic and tactical marketing support for Point S members. Paul’s marketing support will increase awareness of the businesses within the network and provide members with the tools to boost their sales. Across a career spanning over 20 years, he has acquired extensive marketing experience across the education, healthcare, financial, and security industries.

Point S UK Operations Manager, Wayne Daniel, said, “Point S is continuing to grow in the UK, and this growth is showing no signs of slowing down. We are responsible for protecting the independent businesses within our network and enabling them to develop and prosper. With this in mind, we have strengthened our internal team with the exciting appointments of Gary, Dexter, and Paul.

In the UK, the Point S network comprises over 300 independent tyre dealers and auto repair centres. Members benefit from the network’s national and international purchasing agreements with leading suppliers of tyres, parts, oils and lubricants, tools, accessories, and consumables. In addition, Point S also offers local, regional, and national fleet tender opportunities and a bespoke training programme, as well as access to marketing support, digital tools, and Point S’s own-brand range of tyres.
