Repairify Switches Up a Gear at Vizion Kinetic

Kinetic at Telford

Repairify will be presenting its innovative asTech Digital ADAS Calibration Unit at the Vizion Kinetic 2023 Conference, 22-23 March at the Telford International Centre on stand K3, and offering visitors the chance to win a Nintendo Switch when they meet with its IMI trained technicians.

The asTech Digital ADAS Calibration Unit helps repairers (glass, body or mechanical) service more vehicles inhouse, returning them to the road quicker and to high safety standards.  It is user-friendly and boasts an adaptive screen that stores and displays up-to-date targets for almost every manufacturer.  It enables bodyshops to use the technology themselves without moving the vehicle to a main dealer, reducing key-to-key times, and to complete complex jobs the same day.  It also allows repairers to generate a new revenue stream by retaining the diagnostics and calibrations business inhouse, increasing profitability.

The system is continually being developed and the coverage has expanded with more manufacturer approvals.  Recently, the new updates included blind spot coverage for VAG as well as Mercedes C Class, Ford Mustang, Volvo, and Renault Hybrid.

In the event the local tool doesn’t cover the vehicle, the system can be used in conjunction with any device supporting Repairify Remote Services.  This allows Repairify’s IMI trained technicians to assist in connecting to an OE tool and completing the job to recommended OE standards.

Gareth Newbery, national sales manager for Repairify, says, “Single or multi-site operations wanting to introduce the asTech Digital ADAS Calibration Unit into their shops are experiencing many benefits.  These include retaining diagnostic and calibration services inhouse rather than outsourcing them to main dealers and other third parties, which reduces key-to-key times by as much as three days and saves businesses money.  With the expansion of the sales team at Repairify, we are looking forward to being able to support even more bodyshops through the training and technical expertise offered by our IMI trained technicians to help repairers upskill and be more profitable by adopting this easy-to-use equipment.”
