Ring and Osram make their mark at Automechanika
Premium brands, OSRAM and Ring, both exhibited at Automechanika Birmingham at the NEC from 6th – 8th June, with huge success.
The companies shared an impressive stand in hall 19 on stand M111, which proved to be an excellent location with a heavy amount of traffic each day. Visitors were drawn to the stand to discuss the original equipment (OE) lighting solutions OSRAM provides, as well as Ring’s aftermarket battery care, workshop tools, and inspection lamps.
Marketing Director for Ring, Henry Bisson, also joined a panel in the Conference Theatre on Wednesday to discuss online marketplaces and the challenges and opportunities for suppliers and traditional retailers. Henry was picked by the organisers as a voice of authority for the retail and aftermarket space, as Ring is a giant in both areas.
Henry Bisson commented: “Automechanika Birmingham was an incredible show for us as a brand and I was very honoured to be chosen for a panel. The aftermarket is an ever growing, ever changing industry, and we all need to adapt our products and services in order to survive and provide the best service for our customers.
“We found our stand to be very busy on all three days, with a host of different professionals and businesses coming to discuss what Ring and OSRAM can do for their companies. It’s always nice to meet people face to face and show them our products and demonstrate the benefits of having us on board, as well as understanding how we can improve their profit margin, so we were very pleased to have that opportunity.”
Lighting Marketing Manager for OSRAM, Terri Clark, said: “We certainly thought that Automechanika Birmingham was a success for us, we were able to talk to current and new customers about how we can help them with different product ranges as we head towards lighting season. We find this show is excellent to showcase just how much we do. There’s such a variety of visitors that attend, there’s always something for everyone on our stand!”
Product highlights on the stand included a host of new products that have been recently introduced, including the award winning OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER 200, OSRAM’s Professional Series of working lights and Ring’s coloured inspection lamps, cordless tyre inflator, pro jump starter and RWL400, RWL600 and RWL1000 worklamps.
