ROWE starts 2024 at Autosport International

Rowe oils

Premium oils and lubricants brand, ROWE, has announced it will be exhibiting its high-end and sustainably manufactured lubricants, coolants and fluids product range at the Autosport International Show on 11 and 12 January 2024 at Birmingham’s NEC, as part of its mission to bring high-performance lubricants to the UK’s motorsport and automotive sectors.

Autosport International visitors can find ROWE hosted by its new UK distributor, MediaCo Imports (MCOIL), on stand 3A620. This new partnership will see ROWE focus on the UK market with a fresh approach.

Two cars will feature prominently on the ROWE stand at Autosport International. The first is ROWE RACING’s BMW M4 GT3 racecar, which achieved 2nd overall in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and 3rd in the 2023 FIA GT World Cup. It was the only car to finish all the races of the season, including winning at Monza and the Spa 24 Hours, and it did so using only ‘plant-based’ lubricants.

The second car is a much-loved icon of the British historic racing scene, the lightweight MK1 Jaguar ‘BUY 1’ raced by Grant Williams.

ROWE is at the cutting edge of lubricant formulation and production. It sees motorsport as a ‘mobile laboratory’ where products are tried and tested in the harshest of environments. A 24-hour race, for example, equates to c.50,000 extreme road miles covered in a very short period – the perfect environment to push a lubricant to the limit.

It all starts at ROWE’s state-of-the-art blending facility in Germany where sustainable manufacturing is at the heart of its approach. This is thanks, in part, to audited sustainable processes, including 60 per cent of the factory’s energy requirements being self-generated via photovoltaics in addition to a minimum of 50 per cent recycled content in all lubricant packaging.

ROWE will be distributed in the UK exclusively by MediaCo Imports (MCOIL) and its presence at Autosport International complements the oil brand’s ‘racetrack to the road’ circuit-based research and development.

Jeremy Aston-Phillips, Director at MCOIL, commented: “We are thrilled to be attending one of the motorsport industry’s most iconic events, Autosport International. With an immense record of sustainability and lubricant innovation backed by motorsport success, we are delighted to be bringing ROWE’s latest technologies to the UK market.

“With two stunning cars on the stand, we’re eager to meet customers and consumers alike as we promote sustainability in performance engine oils.”
