Schaeffler’s double clutch system training heads north of the border

Schaeffler training
  • VAG wet and dry double clutch system training

  • Clutch, gearbox and mechatronic system technology

  • LuK 2CT removal and installation

The latest IMI-approved double-clutch training course from Schaeffler will be taking place on 31st October & 1st November at the LAGTA Bosch training facility in Motherwell.

The first day covers Volkswagen Group’s dry double clutch systems, introduction and overview - including mechatronics removal, gearbox disassembly and re-assembly and common problems. Attention then moves to mechatronic repair, clutch operation, installation and setup procedures.

Then, on day two, attendees look at Volkswagen Group's wet double clutch systems and mechatronics removal. Covering gearbox disassembly and re-assembly, common problems associated with mechatronic repair, clutch operation, installation and setup procedures.

REPXPERT Technical Services Manager (UK & Ireland) Alistair Mason said: ‘The IMI-approved two-day course addresses the design, operation and repair of both the dry and wet double clutch system for all popular Volkswagen Group DSG gearbox applications. It is designed to encourage and empower mechanics and garage owners to confidently take on double clutch servicing and repairs without the need to send them to a ‘specialist’.

The training, which includes lunch and refreshments on both days plus IMI certification, costs just £349 + VAT per person, so it is a highly cost-effective option for garages with their eye on future profit opportunities. Due to the popularity of the courses, and the highly intensive training method, spaces are extremely limited, so those wishing to take part should click here to register.
