Good quality parts and services are the cornerstone of any successful garage or motor factor, but ongoing innovation and refreshed product lines are key to a successful enduring relationship between supplier and customer, says fuel additive specialist Fueltone Pro.

The Aberdeenshire-based fuel additives specialist has a nationwide distribution network comprising various motor factors and independent garages and commercial director at Fueltone Pro, Malcolm Rosher, says technical workouts are important for equipping factors with chemical knowledge to help save motorists money at the pumps.

“Research and development, and subsequently releasing good quality products to market, is key to maintaining and strengthening relationships with our customers. These relationships matter a lot to us and it’s thanks to these that our message of quality and chemical innovation lands with the end user,” Rosher comments.

Robbie Gray, chairman of Fueltone Pro, says the changing dynamic of vehicle repair businesses mean that more is being done to support mobile technicians as motorists look to local and next-day servicing following the pandemic.

“With more availability and wider coverage being achieved by mobile technicians, especially following the pandemic, we’re working with them as well as our valued motor factor customers to service more vehicles than ever before.”

More drivers are looking to make savings in vehicle maintenance amid the cost-of-living crisis and Fueltone Pro is encouraging drivers to stay on top of vehicle maintenance to reduce the risk of small issues progressing into something much worse.

“It’s critical that drivers prioritise getting their vehicles serviced to keep them roadworthy and safe. Through our network of factor customers and mobile technicians, Fueltone offers products that ensure older vehicles are running as efficiently and cleanly as possible, reducing the potential financial burden on motorists,” Gray comments.

Fueltone Pro’s range of fuel additive and engine flush products sit alongside DPF solutions, that in independent and field tests yielded up to a 14 percent increase in fuel efficiency and up to an 86 percent reduction in particulate emissions.

A cleaner fuel system will burn more efficiently, giving more power and cutting emissions, that typically contain unburnt fuel and carbon.
