The Everyday Leader – IAAF unveils 2024 Conference theme
The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation’s (IAAF) Annual Conference will highlight that everyone in the automotive industry has the opportunity and challenge of being a leader, with a series of inspirational talks set for Thursday 5th December 2024.
The Federation’s Everyday Leader theme is based around the theory that everyone in the automotive aftermarket has a role to play in positively influencing others to raise standards, offer support and ultimately contribute to the industry’s wellbeing.
A full speaker line-up with well-known personalities will be unveiled shortly and the conference, held at the DoubleTree Hilton, Milton Keynes, will see the official launch of the IAAF’s Right to Repair movement, which requires everyone in the automotive industry to spread the word about the contribution the automotive aftermarket makes to mobility in the UK.
Individually or as company, a fully engaged employee or business has to be ready at any time to show leadership – the automotive aftermarket is a shining example of this and the conference will once again bring more than 250 aftermarket people together to network and grow.
Mark Field, IAAF chief executive, said: “At all IAAF events this year, we have seen leadership in so many forms. From the Automechanika Birmingham garage award winners to the students at our summer conference, and from the parts distributors embracing the IAAF training academy, to the aftermarket suppliers that innovate our industry every day, there is no better industry than the automotive aftermarket for coming together and demonstrating leadership qualities.
“It is this quality that the conference will harness as we all unite around the Right to Repair movement, which champions choice for the motorist and equal access for the trade.”
