The ‘Pride of the Aftermarket’ revealed at the IAAF Party of the Year

IAAF Awards ceremony

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF’s) ‘Pride of the Aftermarket’ 2022 award winners have been announced at the Federation’s AFTERmarket Party of the Year.

The annual awards and dinner took place after this year’s conference on 8 December, which was back in-person after the pandemic. Titled ‘Overcoming adversity for a prosperous automotive aftermarket future’, the IAAF conference offered attendees a fantastic line up of speakers who discussed challenges, changes and opportunities in the sector.

The ‘Pride of the AFTERmarket’ awards celebrated individuals and businesses in the automotive aftermarket and were handed out by IAAF President, Richard Welland.

Before the ‘Pride of the Aftermarket’ winners were revealed, guests at the dinner heard from IAAF Chief Executive, Mark Field, who welcomed attendees to celebrate the automotive aftermarket, outlining the changes ahead for the Federation, and announcing the new IAAF Garage Awards – in partnership with Automechanika Birmingham 2023.

Guests were also entertained by award-winning comedian and actor, Omid Djalili ahead of the winners being announced.

In the weeks leading up to the awards, IAAF members were invited to nominate exceptional performances of companies over the past 12 months by completing an entry form via the IAAF website.

Voting was tight across all categories, which Field noted due to the hard work and achievements of the industry.

Over 45 aftermarket companies were shortlisted, and then the general public were able to vote for their winner online before the voting closed on 18 November.
