Thinkcar UK appoints Key Accounts Manager as ranges expand

In his new role, Leeds-based Dally will have responsibility for the north of England, Scotland and North Wales

Thinkcar UK has welcomed Dally Singh as Key Accounts Manager – Automotive Diagnostics and Equipment, and the company says more new team members are set to be recruited as its range grows.

In his new role, Leeds-based Dally will have responsibility for the north of England, Scotland and North Wales. He joins Thinkcar UK following three years with JM Butt & Co.Ltd, where he rose to the position of Area Sales Manager. He brings with him 16 years of experience across the garage equipment sector, including roles with LKQ Euro Car Parts, Andrew Page and The Parts Alliance.

“I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into my new role,” said Dally. “I will be working with Thinkcar UK’s distribution partners to help them maximise every opportunity. With my existing relationships across the sector, I will also be bringing new partners on board.” As well as helping to bring the company’s current diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to an even wider audience, Dally will also help the company bring a new offering to market.

“Dally is an incredibly strong addition to our team,” said Alex Gillbanks, Managing Director at Thinkcar UK. “With his knowledge of the garage equipment sector and contacts right around the industry, he will be able to consolidate our existing market in the north and also expand it even further for us as we bring new kit into the market.”

In the last few months, Thinkcar UK began to roll outits AI-enabled range of diagnostic tools, led by the Thinktool Euro 399 14-inch diagnostic device. The company also fields a wide range of garage equipment, which is set to widen during 2025.

“A host of new tools and ranges from Thinkcar UK will be hitting the market this year,” said Alex, “and we will soon be looking to further extend our team as a result. With Dally focused on the north, he will be joined by a Key Accounts Manager who will be responsible for the south, and we will be recruiting for this role very soon.”
