TPS looking forward to 2025
TPS is looking forward to a successful 2025 after a strong performance in 2024, that saw it expand its Quantum Consumables range and supercharge its delivery fleet.
TPS expanded its Quantum Consumables range, including adding a new oil and screen wash to the range. The Quantum Synta RN 5W-30 oil was added in May, making it the most comprehensive range of Quantum oils ever available to TPS customers.
Further oils are expected to be added in 2025, with 17 oils currently available, and with all those in the range holding approvals and recommendations for a variety of modern vehicles, including hybrids, and a range of manufacturers.
TPS also supercharged its parts deliveries service with the addition of 25 all-electric Cupra Borns and two ID Buzzs into its fleet – in doing so enhancing its capability to deliver five times a day across six days a week and to fit with the customers’ workshop needs.
The new fleet of electric vehicles were rolled out across TPS’s network of centres, including its new TPS Ballymena centre in Northern Ireland, TPS Coventry, TPS Gatwick, TPS Portsmouth and TPS Southampton.
As well as opening TPS Ballymena, there has also been various TPS Centre relocations, including a new expanded site in Redruth, during the year. By adding to its network of centres and relocating and expanding existing centres, TPS continues to go the extra mile for its customers with a service that reaches 100% of the UK.
Volkswagen Group Total Loss Avoidance (TLA) has celebrated its ten-year anniversary, with over 700 UK bodyshops now working with the programme dedicated to preventing vehicles becoming write-offs by offering discounted Volkswagen Group Genuine Parts to keep them on the road.
First launched in 2014, the TLA programme offers access to additional parts discounts on Volkswagen Group Genuine Parts. Discounts are made at the invoice stage, so the processing of a TLA sale is designed to be a quick and hassle-free service.
TPS released its brand film focussing on what makes TPS tick as a business. It also reflects on the vital role the TPS team play in delivering excellent customer service to the Independant Motor Trade each day and can be watched on both the TPS.trade website and across TPS social media channels.
In August, TPS welcomed the return of its popular charity drive, the ‘Summer of Love, which saw its network of 83 Centres and the wider TPS team host a series of fundraising events.
These included bake sales, fancy dress, walks and cycles, BBQs, raffles and the ‘Three Peaks Challenge’ – with the collective efforts raising £10,701.56 for national and local charitable organisations.
Catherine Baker, TPS Head of Group Parts Operations, said: “TPS puts the customer at the heart of everything we do and throughout 2024 we have continued to apply this to further enhance our customer service and experience.
“By making our offers and discounts available for longer periods, we have enabled garages and their customers to enjoy significant discounts on Genuine Parts and the Quantum Consumables range.
“The electrification of our fleet is something that we are particularly proud of as this is important to our customers and for us at TPS and forms part of a wider commitment to achieving a more sustainable business operation.
“The brand film reminds our customers of what a great service TPS provides, the support of national and local charitable causes with our second ‘Summer of Love’ fundraising drive and the celebration of the ten-year anniversary of the TLA programme have all contributed towards a strong 2024 and we now look forward to another successful year.”
