WAI win an award

WAI has been awarded the prestigious ’Supplier of the Year’ title at the MPD 25th Anniversary Event.

This accolade recognises WAI’s exceptional customer service, stock availability, unwavering commitment to quality, training and support.

The MPD 25th anniversary event, held at DoubleTree by Hilton, Milton Keynes on 22nd June, brought together MPD’s suppliers, branch staff and head office employees to celebrate a quarter-century of parts supply.

MPD’s ‘Supplier of the Year’ award highlights WAI’s dedication to delivering superior products and services that meet the evolving needs of its customers.

Richard Welland, President of WAI Europe comments: "We are incredibly honoured to receive this award from MPD. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. It reflects our commitment to being first to market and our relentless pursuit of providing the highest quality products to our customers.

“A big thank you to MPD for this accolade – and hosting a great event! Congratulations on 25 years!”

MPD’s 25th anniversary event involved a trade event in the day to host an event where its suppliers were able to connect directly with branch managers and sales managers showcasing their latest ranges, tools and technology.

This trade show was followed by a drinks reception, dinner and awards ceremony to thank staff and suppliers for their support over 25 years. The evening also included speeches from key directors at MPD and a surprise set from the singing waiters to entertain guests.

Kevin Blazey, marketing director at MPD says: "We are proud to partner with a company like WAI, whose values and commitment to quality align with our mission. Their contributions have significantly enhanced our offerings and customer satisfaction.

“Congratulations to Richard and the team on winning this accolade!"
