Fix My Car
  • Leading car maintenance marketplace renames to increase brand awareness and add further value to its large network of garages

FixMyCar, the leading car maintenance marketplace in the UK, announces a new brand name change effective Tuesday 16th July. The name change comes ahead of the largest marketing campaign in the business’ history and a greater investment in brand and marketing activities in 2024.

The change responds to extensive research the business has recently undertaken with its driver community, partners and network of thousands of UK garages, as it prepares for further growth in the automotive sector and establishes a key moment in the modernisation of the business.

Today, FixMyCar also announces its first brand advertising campaign, to direct more drivers to the car repairs platform and deliver even more business for its garage network and partners. The campaign promises to set FixMyCar on a long-term strategy to become a household consumer brand within the car repairs sector.

Kevern Thompson, CEO at FixMyCar, said:

“As we embark on an exciting new phase for the business, the renaming to FixMyCar marks a modernisation of the brand, as we evolve our offering for drivers, garages and partners as part of a long-term plan for growth.

At FixMyCar we are very much focused on the future, so this year we have made significant investments in our brand and marketing efforts to reach a wider audience of drivers and add even greater value through increased volume to our garage network. The launch of our very first brand campaign marks another milestone moment for FixMyCar in what we hope will be one of many more to come.”

Ben Darby, Head of Marketing at FixMyCar, said:

“After over a decade of building a strong heritage in the auto repairs industry, trust with UK drivers and building the foundations as a strong thought leader within automotive more broadly, we’re excited about embarking on the next stage of brand growth for FixMyCar.

The modernisation of the brand marks a key milestone in our journey, as we set out a long-term strategy for establishing FixMyCar as a household consumer brand.”
