Women Automotive Network prepares for bumper 2024

Women in Automotive Network

Women Automotive Network has announced its exciting line-up of events for 2024 to offer automotive professionals the unique opportunity to meet the next generation of leaders and network with current industry role models.

Hot on the heels of its successful 2023 Women Automotive Summit held in September, at which the Network registered a record number of attendees at its first in-person event since 2019, the company has now revealed a stellar list of events for the new year.

Kicking off on March 7th, the Women Automotive Network is joining forces with its industry partner, Automechanika Birmingham UK, to co-host a networking cocktail reception in celebration of International Women’s Day, being held in Birmingham.

The Network will also be celebrating International Women’s Day on 8th March with an online meetup, providing members a chance to network and talk to like-minded individuals – and celebrate the brilliant females in the sector.

Brand-new for 2024, the Women Automotive Summit Detroit is taking place on June 4th. This sought-after event is being held to help spread the message, make a difference and empower women in the automotive industry in the US. The agenda for this must-attend event will be going live this month, with the first speakers being announced soon.

Finally, the Women Automotive Network is pleased to announce the return of its face-to-face European summit on October 9th, 2024, in Stuttgart. After its record-breaking attendance this year, the Network welcomed more than 350 visitors, nearly 800 online attendees and 31 speakers, to celebrate the benefits of adopting a diverse workforce, with an esteemed list of industry professionals sharing key insights and advice with the fully engaged audience.

Stephanie May, commercial director of Women Automotive Network, said: “With the end of the year fast-approaching, what better way to kick off 2024 with registering for one of our fantastic events!

“2023 has been phenomenal, and we can’t wait for an even bigger and better 2024. We are continuously working closely with our members and partners to share insight and drive women forward in the automotive industry.”

The Network will also continue its mission to work collaboratively with members to inform and liaise on hot topics with its regular Leadership Interviews. The monthly sessions see the network welcome a well-known host from the industry, who sits down with other leaders to discuss in detail key topics relevant to the automotive sector.

Next in the calendar will see Jaclyn McQuaid, President, General Motors Europe join host, Andy Follows, owner of boutique automotive consultancy Aquilae, explore ‘How can established companies operate like a start-up?’, on November 16th from 2pm – 2:45pm.

Following on from this will be Linda Jackson, CEO of Peugeot, on December 12th at 1pm, where she will discuss ‘My automotive career and advice.’ Finally, they will welcome Chris Feuell, CEO of Chrysler, on January 17, 2024, at 3pm, who will be sharing her thoughts on ‘Marketing to women and marketing yourself.’
