Diesel vehicle presence supported via HELLA NOx sensor programme

HELLA is supporting garages by making sure they have trouble-free access to an ever-expanding NOx sensor range

With a million more vans on the road compared with a decade ago, most of which run on diesel, along with the huge number of diesel cars in the parc, HELLA is supporting garages by making sure they have trouble-free access to an ever-expanding NOx sensor range.

HELLA’s NOx sensor range includes more than 115 references covering over 30,000 PC and CV applications.

The overwhelming popularity of diesel vehicles in the last 20 years means there are still millions of examples on UK roads requiring a host of parts, crucially including NOx sensors. Meanwhile, research from advocacy group Transport and Environment recently showed there are one million more vans on the road compared with 2014, with most running on diesel.

Ongoing concerns around diesel emissions, and continually tightening legislation means that it is important that these vehicles are running at the optimum level, with the NOx sensor playing a vital role. “HELLA NOx sensors for passenger cars and light and heavy commercial vehicles offer high resistance to engine vibrations and increased temperatures,” said Helen Goldingay, UK Marketing and Communications Manager at HELLA. “They are meticulously designed, built and tested to meet OEM specifications for both Euro 5 and Euro 6 applications. With our commitment to quality and precision, you can trust HELLA to deliver reliable and efficient solutions for modern emission control systems.”

The competitively priced range offers excellent stock availability, with key passenger car applications covered for BMW, Vauxhall, Mercedes-Benz and many more. On the commercial vehicle front, HELLA’s NOx sensor offering supports DAF, Scania, Renault, Volvo and beyond.

“With our OE knowledge and expertise, both 12V and 24V applications are catered for,” said Helen. “This means garages servicing cars, LCVs and CVs can rely on HELLA for their NOx sensor needs.”
