First Line deliver bolstered cable range

First Line cable range

All-makes aftermarket specialist First Line Ltd. has bolstered its range of cables, with almost 3,000 references now available in the range thanks to a research and development programme with unsparing detail.

Quality cable fitment is crucial, and with First Line Ltd.’s quality ethos in mind, the entire range is manufactured to its exacting high standards and rigorous product testing is carried out to ensure the consistency of performance expected with a premium product.

The range of cables has now expanded with tacho shaft, parking brake, gear lever, manual transmission cable, clutch and accelerator cables available and is under consistent review to maximise vehicle parc coverage, to provide technicians with high-quality cable replacements for all applications.

Andrew McCluskey, Head of Sales at First Line Ltd., said: “Technicians can have confidence in the quality of our cables range. Product development continues at pace, and with the challenges of new automatic and hybrid powertrains coming through, we must ensure we are developing our range to stay ahead of the curve and ensure our product offering is meeting the needs of the aftermarket industry.

“We continue to experience strong demand for our comprehensive range of cables across various applications and are actively looking to increase our vehicle parc coverage in these areas.”

First Line Ltd. regularly refers to customer queries and feedback to shape its product development strategy. A new joint fitting has been developed on gear cables for Mini hatchbacks (R55, R56, R57, R58 and R59 models, 2007-2015), to help make fitment easier and provide a wider range of movement. The new part, FKG1296/BKG1296, is now available for delivery.

All of the company's new-to-range products can be found in the newly updated online catalogue WebCat, allowing distributors access to the brand's impressive portfolio of components, which can be looked-up by application or cross-reference at webcat.firstline.co.uk.
