Laser Tools introduces final drive prop-shaft tool set for BMW Models

This specialised kit is designed to simplify the removal and installation of the prop shaft and drive flange

Laser Tools has recently introduced their BMW Final Drive Prop Shaft Tool Set (part number 9027), a must-have solution for professionals and hands-on BMW enthusiasts. This specialised kit is designed to simplify the removal and installation of the prop shaft and drive flange on a wide range of BMW models — designed to be used with 1/2" breaker bars and associated sockets, the kit includes specifically sized spanners and holding tools to allow the user to separate the prop shaft from the drive flange and then remove the drive flange.

Care has to be taken with this job so as not to damage splines, seals or to affect the differential pre-load or the transmission. When used following BMW’s recommended process, these tools simplify the often-challenging task of separating the prop shaft and drive flange, making the process more efficient and less time-consuming. The set includes the correct 50mm open spanner, a 65mm multi-point ring spanner, pinion sockets (34 spline and 37 spline), a flange holding tool and the necessary seal fitting drift.

Applications include BMW models: 1 Series (2011–2019); 2 Series (2014–2021); 3 Series (2005–2014); 5 Series (2010–2017); 6 Series (2011–2018); 7 Series (2008–2015); X3 (2010–2017); X4 (2014–2018); X5 (2006–2018) and X6 (2014–2019). Directly comparable to BMW tools 330080, 335050, 335060, 335080, and 335090, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards.
