Roar Polishing range

The Autosupplies Group has expanded its range of Roar Polishing detailing products, now including refinishing compounds geared towards resprayers and the repair industry.

Popular with technicians, resprayers, vehicle restorers and body repair garages and detailers, the Roar Polishing range is developed with an uncompromising approach on quality, with polishing, cutting pastes and compounds all forged in a high-end facility in Ripley, Derbyshire.

Michael Tennyson, technical sales representative at Roar Polishing, said: “All products are designed and manufactured with a meticulous and exacting eye on quality to support the body repair industry and detailers with products they can trust.

“Everything that leaves the mixers before it’s bottled will be tested against every previous sample and has a series of demanding tests to pass before bottling. One batch forms a thousand bottles so our quality assurance tests are a crucial step of the manufacturing process.

“We test by painting actual car body panels and a metered amount of 3ml is run over a one-minute cycle against our laboratory standard. This test is completed for raw material pre delivery samples, post-delivery and post-final mix before being bottled ready for distribution.”

The Autosupplies Group will now offer customers the full range of Roar Polishing products, including abrasives, applicators, and ancillaries for the body repairers, plus compounds, glazes and waxes for DIY detailers and valeting perfectionists.

Roar Polishing was formed by a group of former workshop employees committed to creating compounds to help painters, including developing new cutting pastes.

“The last thing a painter wants is dirt that has landed in the paint, but the new cutting paste can help sand away marks, debris or fine scratches,” Tennyson explains.

David Clarke, managing director at Autosupplies, said: “There’s great potential on offer here for bodyshops and detailers looking to maximise efficiency in vehicle repairs or achieve the highest standards in vehicle paintwork.”
