MatraX Tyres move forward into the Commercial Tyre market
The MatraX tyre brand from the Portuguese based Grupo Alves Bandeira entered the international tyre market one year ago with a range of PCR, UHP, 4x4/SUV and van tyres. Now this increasing popular brand has recently moved forward into the next stage of its ongoing growth programme by introducing its initial selection of Truck and Commercial tyres
The initial MatraX TBR range incorporates of 14 patterns and 30 sizes at a technological advanced international tyre building facility and looks to provide every commercial vehicle driving demand. The new TBR range will become available in the near future.
The MatraX S1520 is a tyre that’s suitable for medium and long distance applications giving highly impressive grip to ensure a high standard of drive handling at high speeds. Also an advanced pattern with built-in stone ejector ensures great anti-sideslip and drainage and the distinct shoulder rib design provides outstanding rigidity in the shoulder groove are leading to greater traction and mileage service life. The S1520 will be available in size 315/80R22.5.
The MatraX AT200 pattern is best suited to a mixture of short and long road surfaces and includes highly condensed rubber in the middle section of the Crown improving levels of wear resistance and durability. Whilst an advanced block pattern ensures maximum power transmission. The AT200 will be available in five size options from 11R22.5 to 315/70R22.5.
The MatraX SA405 tyre includes a special tread formula with an inner layer of low hot rolled rubber that effectively reinforces high wear resistance. Also, a unique shoulder area design enhances anti-wear performance and prevents irregular tread wear. Additional benefits include increased driving stability, drainage, low noise levels and reduced fuel consumption. The SA405 will be available in tire size 12.00R24.
The MatraX AT205 is a drive axle tyre specifically optimized to guarantee outstanding handling performance in regional applications. With a rugged directional tread that gives advanced low wear on long haul trips. Also, a unique tread block design provides reduced rolling resistance and impressive fuel efficiency. The AT205 pattern will be initially available in two sizes – 295/80R22.5 and 315/80R22.5
The MatraX S1530 provides a wide shoulder design for increased tread wear and superior traction levels. Whilst other benefits include excellent road handling and impressive grip on wet and slippery road surfaces. The S1530 will become available in size 9.5R17.5.
