NTK EGT Sensors

The range of NTK exhaust gas temperature sensors (EGTS) has been expanded to include 98 new parts for tens of thousands of vehicles on the UK and Ireland’s roads.

The NTK range from Niterra UK Ltd now comprises 113 parts and is featured in a new publication, EGT Sensors Catalogue 2023/24,which can be downloaded from the downloads section within the Part Finder sub-site on the company’s website www.ngkntk.com/uk

EGT sensors monitor the exhaust temperatures to enable efficient protection of vital components located in the flow of hot exhaust gases in single and twin turbo-charged cars.

NTK EGT sensors are a popular choice for vehicle manufacturers as they provide extreme resilience against heat and vibrations, have high measuring accuracy, fast light-off times and an exceptionally wide measuring range.

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, Niterra UK Ltd, said: “The EGT sensors range has proven to be very popular since launch and the new additions make it even more attractive as it caters for a wide range of popular vehicles from many of the World’s leading marques including Mercedes Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo and Vauxhall.”

The NTK EGT sensors range was introduced to the UK market in 2014 by NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd which this month (April) officially changed the name of its UK operations to Niterra UK Ltd.

The NTK range also includes Lambda sensors, which are the No.1 choice of vehicle manufacturers (VMs) giving improved engine efficiency, reduced emissions and increased economy, plus camshaft & crankshaft sensors and MAF & MAP sensors.

The company also recently added to its EGR valve range with the introduction of two new part numbers for a number of popular vehicle applications. It introduced 45 references to the NTK brand in March 2022 in phase one of the UK launch of a wide range of EGR valves and in January 2023 added part number EGP0-N113 (stock number 93038) and part number EGP3-A111 (stock no. 97915).
