Schaeffler highlights latest INA water pump for Volvo engines
Schaeffler’s OEM-quality range of INA electric auxiliary water pumps has been boosted by the introduction of a new Volvo-specific part
Schaeffler’s OEM-quality range of INA electric auxiliary water pumps now includes a new reference for the Volvo XC60, the most popular model currently offered by the brand, along with several other models.
The range, produced by the motion technology company under the INA brand, meets OEM standards and offers wide coverage of the European vehicle parc. The launch earlier this year included an initial batch of 11 parts, with more set to be released soon as the portfolio continues to evolve.
Electric water pump 538 1018 10 covers Volvo vehicles equipped with the B4204 engine, including various iterations of the S60, S90, V40, V60, V70, V90, XC40, XC70 and XC90. The most popular vehicle covered is the Volvo XC60 Hybrid AWD, in production since 2018.
This new pump, as with the rest of the INA-branded range, offers several advantages. “This new pump is notable for its precise controllability,” said Maik Evers, Head of Product Management Powertrain Systems at Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket. “Because it is powered by the vehicle electrical system, not the belt drive, the delivery rate is continuously regulated.”
The Schaeffler portfolio of high-quality auxiliary water pumps offers professional and efficient repair solutions and guarantees maximum functionality and reliability. “Our range of INA auxiliary water pumps is proving popular with technicians,” said Maik, “which is testament to the continued efforts we are putting into improving our thermal management offering. “
