Workshop Dust-Extraction Station use with both air and electric powered sanders

Another new product has just been added to the Power-TEC range of professional bodyshop tools and equipment: this super-versatile workshop dust-extraction station (part number 92701), based around a 1200W 55-litre wet-and-dry dust extractor, suitable for use when working with both pneumatic and electric sanding tools when fitted with a dust extraction hose connector/exhaust.

The station features a built-in air-control regulator with fluid-level monitoring, a pair of air outlets together with a pair of 1000W 3-pin British Standard electrical sockets allowing for two tools to be connected and used at the same time (when used with an additional hose – part number 92700). One operator can be using an air-powered tool while another operator is using an electric tool, or both can be using air or electric tools. A useful feature is that the extractor unit can be switched between an automatic mode, which turns the vacuum on when the connected tool is being used and switches off 12 to 15 seconds after the tool has stopped running, and a manual mode where the vacuum runs continuously (for non-powered hand-sanding).

The station also features shelves and hooks for stowing hoses, power cords, tools and consumables, and is fitted with four castors for easy mobility. Suitable for use with Power-TEC Air Palm Random Orbital Sander (part number 92685) and Electric Random Orbital Sander (part number 92696).
